For years, New Mexico has struggled to recruit and retain physicians, particularly in rural communities.

HB 99 restores balance to our medical malpractice system while protecting patients’ rights, making New Mexico a more competitive place for doctors to practice.

Improving healthcare access means making sure families can actually find a physician when they need one.
