Strong communities need good-paying jobs, thriving small businesses, and an economy that gives our children a reason to build their future here instead of leaving New Mexico.

During my time in office, I have supported policies that encourage business growth while working to improve the infrastructure our communities need to succeed. I also worked to protect more than $1 million in funding for Torrance County, supported bipartisan efforts to strengthen economic development, and invested in transportation and local improvement projects that help communities grow responsibly.

New Mexico has incredible potential. By creating a business-friendly environment, investing in infrastructure, and supporting local entrepreneurs, we can attract new employers while helping existing businesses succeed.

Economic growth isn’t about government picking winners and losers—it’s about creating opportunities so hardworking New Mexicans can prosper.

Strong communities are built by investing in the places where families live, learn, and gather.

I have worked to secure funding for projects that improve everyday life throughout House District 22, including:

• East Mountain High School science, technology, engineering, and mathematics expansion.

• East Mountain Baseball Complex improvements.

• Estancia Valley Classical Academy technology improvements.

• Los Vecinos Community Center.

• Tijeras Senior Center.

• Tijeras Village Hall improvements.

• Elena Gallegos Open Space improvements.

• Historic Campos Sanchez Stone House preservation.

• Local parks, recreation facilities, and community spaces.

Building strong communities means investing in education, recreation, public spaces, and the quality of life that makes our district such a special place to call home.

One of my proudest accomplishments was cosponsoring and helping pass HB 99.

For years, New Mexico has struggled to recruit and retain physicians, particularly in rural communities.

HB 99 restores balance to our medical malpractice system while protecting patients’ rights, making New Mexico a more competitive place for doctors to practice.

Improving healthcare access means making sure families can actually find a physician when they need one.

I am dedicated to preserving the rights of New Mexicans to own and defend themselves with firearms. I firmly uphold the United States Constitutional statement, “shall not be infringed.”

Water is one of New Mexico’s most precious resources. As someone who has personally experienced the hardship of a dry well, I understand how important reliable, safe water is for every family.

During my time in office, I have worked to:

• Address Estancia’s water emergency.

• Support improvements to water systems in Carnuel, Tranquillo Pines, the Torrance County Water Association, and the Paa-Ko Water Treatment Plant.

• Meet with the New Mexico Environment Department and local officials to address PFAS contamination concerns affecting our communities.

• Protect East Mountain groundwater by standing with residents against incompatible overdevelopment that threatened local water resources.

Protecting our water requires planning, infrastructure investment, and responsible growth. I will continue working to ensure our communities have clean, reliable water for generations to come.
