Meet Stefani
Stefani Lord and her husband, Thor Lord, call the East Mountains their home. Thor is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran. Stefani and Thor are avid motorcycle riders who spend many hours riding the beautiful roads of New Mexico. When they are not riding, they are usually working on motorcycles, spoiling their rescue dogs, or enjoying great food, live music, and the rodeos of the East Mountains. Stefani says, “We both love the people, the music, the food, and the incredible scenery of New Mexico.”

Butternut squash casserole with bacon and caramelized onions is delicious! I used a third more bacon and only half or less kale. I couldn't find parsnips, so I just used more squash.
It came out great - highly recommend.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office detectives are continuing their investigation of a homicide that is believed to have occurred in the East Mountains near Juan Tomas Rd and Atkins Ave. Investigators have not made a positive identification of the body found in the area on November 7, 2022. The body has been described as a 30 to 50-year-old male. The only item recovered from the scene was a red and white beaded necklace (pictured below).
